Welcome to Practitionr. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our platform. By accessing or using Practitionr, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.
1. About Practitionr
Practitionr is an AI-powered exam preparation platform for healthcare professionals, operated by Practitionr LLC, a company incorporated in the State of Colorado, United States. Our platform provides adaptive study tools, practice questions, diagnostic assessments, and exam simulators designed to help students prepare for healthcare licensure examinations.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using any part of the Practitionr platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Practitionr LLC.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Practitionr. By using our platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the platform.
Practitionr is intended for use by individuals preparing for healthcare licensure examinations and related academic purposes. Use of the platform for any other purpose is not permitted without prior written consent from Practitionr LLC.
4. Accounts and Registration
To access certain features of Practitionr, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@practitionr.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
Each account is for one individual. Accounts may not be shared, and platform access may not be sold, lent, or transferred to any third party.
Practitionr reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently or in an unauthorized manner.
5. Free Trial
New users receive a limited free trial with access to core features of the platform at no charge. The length of the trial and the features included are described at signup. Full-length practice and simulated examinations are available only with a purchased plan and are not part of the free trial.
At the end of your free trial, you will be given the option to purchase a plan to continue using the platform. If you choose not to purchase, your access will be limited or discontinued. You will never be charged without your explicit purchase.
Practitionr reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the free trial offer at any time without notice.
6. Purchases and Billing
Practitionr access is sold as a one-time purchase that provides access to the platform through your scheduled exam date, as described at the time of purchase. There is no recurring subscription and no automatic renewal.
All prices are stated in US dollars and are displayed at the time of purchase. Discounted student pricing may be available to purchasers with a verified educational (.edu) email address. Promotional codes, where issued by Practitionr, are applied at checkout and are subject to any terms stated with the code.
Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor. Installment payment plans may be available at checkout through third-party providers; any such plan is an agreement between you and that provider and is subject to the provider’s own terms.
Practitionr reserves the right to change pricing at any time. Price changes do not affect purchases already completed.
If you change your exam date within the platform, your access period adjusts to your updated exam date.
7. Score Guarantee (“The Prax Promise” also referred to as “Don’t Pass, Don’t Pay”) and Refunds
Practitionr stands behind its platform through the Prax Promise.
Eligibility. This guarantee applies to students who purchased a Practitionr plan and who achieved Prax Promise certification status in the platform before sitting for their licensure examination. Certification status is determined solely by Practitionr’s published in-app criteria as displayed in your account at the time of certification.
The promise. If you achieve certification status and do not pass your licensure examination on your next attempt following certification, you are eligible for a full refund of the price you paid.
How to claim. Within 30 days of receiving your official examination results, email a copy of your official score report to refunds@practitionr.com from the email address associated with your Practitionr account. We may request additional documentation to verify your claim.
Processing. Verified refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically take 4 to 6 weeks to verify and process.
Limits. One refund per student. Refunds equal the amount actually paid, net of any discounts or promotional codes. Accounts obtained through free or promotional access with no payment are not eligible for a cash refund. This guarantee does not apply where account sharing or misuse of the platform (see Section 10) is found, and termination for misuse voids guarantee eligibility.
Practitionr reserves the right to deny refund requests that we reasonably believe are fraudulent or made in bad faith, including where certification status was not achieved before the exam attempt, where no exam attempt can be verified, or where account activity indicates the platform was not used as intended.
Except as provided under this guarantee or as required by applicable law, all purchases are final and non-refundable.
8. Account Closure
Because Practitionr access is a one-time purchase, there is no recurring billing to cancel.
You may close your account at any time through your account settings. Closing your account permanently deletes your study data and cannot be undone. Closing your account does not entitle you to a refund, and a free trial that has been used is not restored if you later create a new account. If you have a purchase on record, account closure is handled through support — contact us at support@practitionr.com and we will process it for you.
Practitionr reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate these Terms and Conditions.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Practitionr platform — including but not limited to text, questions, assessments, study plans, software, graphics, logos, and AI-generated content — is the property of Practitionr LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the platform for your personal, non-commercial exam preparation purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any content from the platform without prior written permission from Practitionr LLC.
10. Acceptable Use
By using Practitionr, you agree not to:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
- Share, sell, or distribute your account credentials or platform access to any third party
- Reproduce, copy, or redistribute any platform content, including questions, assessments, lessons, or study materials
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise access the underlying code or AI systems of the platform
- Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access or extract content from the platform
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the platform or its infrastructure
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information to the platform
- Use the platform in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality
AI features. Prax and other AI features exist solely for your own exam preparation. You agree not to attempt to circumvent their safety controls or operating instructions; not to use them to extract, reproduce, or compile Practitionr’s questions, lessons, or other course content beyond your personal study; and not to probe or manipulate them for any purpose other than studying.
Monitoring and enforcement. We log interactions with the platform’s AI features, including attempts to misuse them. Where we determine, based on those records, that an account has engaged in deliberate misuse — including systematic attempts to bypass safety controls or to extract our content — we may suspend or permanently terminate that account immediately and without refund. Termination for misuse also voids any guarantee eligibility under Section 7. Our records of the relevant interactions are the basis for such determinations, and we retain them for this purpose.
Violation of these acceptable use terms may result in immediate termination of your account without refund.
11. Privacy and Data
Practitionr takes your privacy seriously. We collect and use your personal data only as necessary to provide and improve our platform. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.
By using Practitionr, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms and Conditions by reference.
Your study data, performance history, and diagnostic results are used to power the adaptive features of the platform and to improve your exam preparation experience. Interactions with AI features are logged as described in Section 10.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
Practitionr is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Practitionr LLC makes no warranty that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
Platform content is generated with the assistance of artificial intelligence and reviewed by licensed physical therapists; despite this review process, content may contain errors. The platform, including any AI tutoring feature, is an educational study tool only. It is not medical advice, does not establish a provider-patient relationship, and must not be used to make decisions about the care of real patients.
While Practitionr is designed to help you prepare for healthcare licensure examinations, and offers the guarantee described in Section 7, we make no warranty that use of the platform will result in passing any examination. Exam outcomes depend on many individual factors outside our control.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Practitionr LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or failure to pass a licensure examination.
In no event shall Practitionr LLC’s total liability to you for all claims arising from your use of the platform exceed the amount you paid to Practitionr in the twelve months preceding the claim.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Practitionr LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the platform, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
15. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Colorado.
16. Changes to These Terms
Practitionr reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on our website and updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
